Lift Schools Bexleyheath are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring English Teacher to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented educator who can deliver engaging and dynamic lessons across all key stages, embedding a love of literature and language while supporting students to achieve their full potential.You will also contribute to a broad extracurricular programme and support whole-school initiatives that promote well being and achievement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that motivate and challenge all learners
  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress
  • Promote positive behaviour and inclusive participation in lessons
  • Support the wider vision and values of Lift Bexleyheath

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds a degree in a relevant English based subject
  • Has experience of working with young people within a school environment
  • Demonstrates excellent behaviour management skills
  • Is committed to student development and well being
  • Works effectively as part of a team and contributes to school life
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Is available to attend interviews in person – we cannot support online interviews at this time.
