LMC Chartered Accountants are seeking a motivated and organised Payroll Administrator to join our growing payroll department.
This opportunity would suit someone looking to build a long-term professional career within payroll and accountancy services. Previous payroll experience is not essential as full training and support will be provided.
Role Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation and processing of payrolls
- Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee information
- Supporting PAYE, pension and payroll compliance administration
- Responding to payroll-related queries professionally and confidentially
- Working with payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
- Supporting the payroll team with administrative and compliance duties
Training & Career Development:
The successful candidate will receive practical in-house payroll training throughout the first year of employment.
In the second year of employment, the employee will undertake a professional payroll qualification, funded by LMC Chartered Accountants, to support continued professional development and career progression.
The second-year arrangement includes:
- Four office working days per week
- One unpaid study day per week allocated for coursework and qualification completion
LMC Chartered Accountants will fund:
- Course registration fees
- Approved tuition fees
- First-attempt examination fees
- Approved course materials
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Professional and confidential approach to work
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally
