Due to the continued success and expansion of the business we are looking for an Electrical Testing and Inspection Engineer to join our team.

Reporting to the Contract Manager the Electrical Testing and Inspection Engineer will be responsible for undertaking various electrical tasks including inspection & testing and condition reporting for new installation work, minor works projects, refurbishment works and planned maintenance tasks in order to achieve a high level of service delivery.

Job Responsibilities: This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for the job title and the range of duties to be undertaken. About You

Essential Criteria

  1. C&G Level 3 2357 or equivalent, having completed a relevant apprenticeship within your trade.
  2. AM2.
  3. City and Guilds ) Level 3 qualification.
  4. Have a minimum of 2+ years experience as an electrical testing engineer (Condition reporting).
  5. IET Wiring Regulations BS 7678 18th Edition inc. Amd. 2
  6. Extensive knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations.
  7. Highly experienced in Electrical installation works for commercial and industrial installations.
  8. Full UK Drivers Licence.
  9. Normal eyesight colour vision.
  10. Strong administration skills, ensuring condition reports and job sheets are accurately completed and submitted on time.
Desirable Criteria

  1. City and Guilds Electrical Equipment Maintenance and Testing (2377).
  2. Registered CSCS/CSR Card or equivalent skill card.
  3. Experience in planned & reactive maintenance.
  4. High Voltage awareness training.
  5. Confined space training.
  6. IPAF card holder.
