An exciting opportunity has arisen at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust (UHCW) to recruit a motivated Consultant Interventional Radiologist to join our expanding and forward‑thinking service. We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Consultant who will:
- Contribute to general and acute Interventional Radiology services
- Support and develop specialist areas of interest within IR
- Participate in a small component of general diagnostic imaging and MDT activity
- Engage in service development, teaching, and quality improvement
- Deliver a comprehensive Interventional Radiology (IR) service, including elective and emergency procedures
- Participate in the IR on call rota supporting acute and trauma services
- Contribute to general diagnostic imaging and MDT meetings
- Support the development of specialist IR services in line with departmental priorities
- Run outpatient clinics and provide clinical consultation to referring teams
- Supervise and train junior doctors and radiology trainees
- Actively participate in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
- Engage in teaching, research, and service development activities
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across the Trust and referring networks
