Role overview:
We’re looking for an IT Solutions Consultant to design and shape best‑in‑class managed IT, cloud, connectivity, and security solutions for our customers. Acting as a trusted technical advisor, you’ll work closely with customers to understand their current environment, challenges, and future ambitions, translating these into scalable, secure, and commercially viable solutions.
You’ll play a critical role across the full pre‑sales lifecycle, from discovery through to solution design, while ensuring a smooth transition into delivery. Working cross‑functionally with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams, you’ll help build repeatable, high‑quality managed service offerings that reflect Vorboss’ standards.
Key responsibilities:

- Lead and support technical discovery sessions to understand customer environments, challenges, and future requirements.
- Design and propose tailored managed IT, cloud, connectivity, and security solutions aligned to customer needs.
- Translate technical concepts into clear, outcome‑driven recommendations for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Partner with Sales to shape solutions that balance technical integrity, scalability, and commercial viability.
- Produce and validate solution designs, architectures, and scope of work documentation.
- Ensure all solutions align with best practice managed service models and are deliverable within operational frameworks.
- Assess customer environments to ensure compatibility, integration, and minimal disruption during implementation.
- Design and support delivery of:
- Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions (including identity, security, and endpoint management)
- Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions
- Cloud migrations, tenant consolidations, and platform upgrades
- Advise customers on best practice architecture, licensing, and security posture.
- Support validation and testing of solutions prior to deployment.
- Work closely with Sales, Product, and Commercial teams to develop scalable, repeatable managed service offerings.
- Collaborate with Delivery teams to ensure a seamless transition from design to implementation.
- Provide clear technical guidance and early validation to reduce delivery risk.
- Escalate complex or non‑standard requirements to senior stakeholders where required.
