As a Lead 2D Artist at Black Kite, you will deliver creative excellence from pitch through to delivery, providing technical and creative leadership across the 2D pipeline for high end VFX projects.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with VFX Supervisors to develop and implement creative and technical solutions for 2D requirements across a range of VFX projects.
- Create outstanding creative work.
- Lead teams of 2D artists to success across high end VFX projects.
- Work with the Production team to pitch for and win projects while developing client relationships.
- Ensure comprehensive shoot supervision, capturing all required data while delivering an excellent client experience.
- Support and mentor creative talent.
- Deliver client feedback clearly and constructively to your team.
- Deliver projects that look visually outstanding on time and on budget.
- Inspire a culture of creative innovation.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Black Kite.
- Experience delivering outstanding VFX work in commercials.
- Experience leading or supervising teams of 2D artists to success.
- Strong understanding of the entire VFX pipeline.
- Production experience with Nuke and Flame.
- On set VFX supervision experience.
- Experience dealing with high profile clients and directors; motivated to develop this further.
- Understanding of 2D workflows and working knowledge of Nuke.
- Great problem solving skills and enjoyment of troubleshooting.
- Team player with a positive can do attitude.
- Confident communicator.
- Passionate about providing creative solutions and delivering creative excellence.
- Ambitious and driven to deliver excellence at all times.
- Kept to learn and seek opportunities to expand skills.
