About the Business
DEX Construction Group Ltd (DEX) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Far East Consortium (FEC), a leading global property developer with an international portfolio spanning the UK, Europe, Australia, and Asia.
In the UK, FEC is the joint venture partner with Manchester City Council behind Victoria North, one of the largest urban regeneration programmes in Europe, targeting 15,000 new homes across north Manchester over the next 15–20 years, representing an estimated £4bn of investment in the city.
DEX operates as FEC's integrated construction arm in the Manchester region, working exclusively on behalf of FEC across two primary business units:
- Housing: delivering multi-phase residential programmes including private sale and affordable homes. The immediate pipeline includes the Collyhurst regeneration scheme, currently on site delivering 274 homes, with an emerging pipeline of approximately 3,000 single-family homes planned across north Manchester.
- Major Projects: delivering complex, high-value, high-rise mixed-use residential schemes. Current priorities include two development sites in the Red Bank neighbourhood to deliver the next 900 new homes.
