The Role

As Site Manager – Operations, you will take full ownership of the new Nottingham site, leading it from launch through to becoming a high-performing branch.

You will oversee all key functions including:

• Delivery
• Office operations
• Sales
• Stock control
• Warehouse
• Site security

Your leadership will be central to building a high-performing team, strong culture, and operational excellence from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all site operations in line with company objectives
• Build, inspire, and develop multi-functional teams
• Deliver outstanding customer service across all departments
• Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and company policies
• Protect company assets through strong controls and security
• Monitor performance, setting and achieving ambitious targets
• Act as the senior leader on site, championing JJ values and culture

About You

We’re looking for a hands-on, people-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and is excited by the opportunity to launch a new site.

You will bring:

• Proven experience in site, branch, or operations management (foodservice, wholesale, or logistics preferred)
• A strong track record of leading and developing large, multi-department teams
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
• The ability to balance daily operations with long-term strategy
• Strong commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset
• A passion for building teams and creating a positive culture
