Job Title: Health & Safety Advisor

Location: Birmingham / Solihull

Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent

Salary: Up to £50,000 + Company Car or Car Allowance + Fuel Card

Edge Careers are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Groundworks & Civils Contractor looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Advisor due to continued growth and recent project wins.

This role will involve overseeing multiple live projects across the West Midlands region, working closely with operational teams to ensure high standards of health, safety, and compliance are maintained across site activities.

The business has a well-structured Health & Safety team in place and offers genuine long-term progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site visits, audits, reporting, and follow-up actions

• Supporting management and site teams on SHE matters

• Delivering toolbox talks and on-site training

• Investigating accidents and incidents

• Ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and relevant legislation

• Promoting a positive Health & Safety culture throughout the business

Requirements:

• Experience within a Health & Safety Advisor role

• Construction sector background essential

• Groundworks & Civils experience beneficial but not essential

• IOSH / NEBOSH or equivalent qualification

• Strong communication and report-writing skills

• Full UK Driving Licence
