Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
General:
- Support the businesses Recruitment Strategy.
- Developing a knowledge of the business requirement to identify candidates and suitability for each requirement.
- Identify and sign off vacancies with Hiring Managers.
- Track recruitment data metrics and ensure transparent updates.
- Manage resource tools including job boards such as indeed, LinkedIn. Manage relationships.
- Being flexible, within reason, in terms of hours of work to suit the needs of the business.
- Resource planning - facilitate resource meeting across the business, ensuring minutes are taken and distributed.

*Please note that although this role is based in Cardiff, it requires weekly travel to our Stoke office every Monday.*
LinkedIn / Indeed:
- Publish current live vacancies across job boards, ensuring that job advertisements have been reviewed.
- Reviewing and shortlisting applicants that have applied via LinkedIn / Indeed.
- Undertake initial telephone interviews with potential candidates including briefing them on our interview process and managing their expectations effectively.
Interviews / Onboarding:
- Ensure all relevant paperwork has been completed and filed ahead of the interview stage i.e. application form & GDPR.
- Create diary invites for interviews ensuring that suitable meeting rooms are booked for in-person interviews.
- Conduct interviews with Directors / Line Managers.
- Ensure that the recruitment tracker is maintained and updated in a timely manner.
- Create and issue offer letters with approval from the Hiring Manager / HR.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Thorough attention to detail.
- Ability to always act with confidentiality, integrity & discretion.
- Personable, approachable and adaptable.
- Ability to function in a high-pressured environment working to deadlines.
- Starting to build and manage professional relationships with a variety of personality types including senior leadership and fellow colleagues.
- Experience using Workday is advantageous.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Good experience in recruitment, ideally as an in-house recruiter or similar.
- Good understanding of the full life cycle / 360 recruitment process.
- Ability to influence and negotiate with all levels of seniority. Starting to build relationships both internally and externally.
- Good understanding of HR processes.
- Sound knowledge of the Construction Sector / Advanced Technology is preferred.
