We’re supporting an exciting and fast-growing space technology business that is looking to bring in a Senior Systems Engineer to support the development of next-generation spacecraft and satellite systems.
This is a great opportunity to join a highly collaborative engineering team working across the full system lifecycle on genuinely cutting-edge missions within the space sector.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in defining, managing, and delivering complex systems engineering activities across spacecraft programmes, working closely with multidisciplinary teams across software, hardware, avionics, RF, and mission operations.
Responsibilities will include:
- Requirements capture and management
- System architecture and design activities
- Verification & validation planning
- Technical trade-off studies
- Supporting integration and testing activities
- Stakeholder and customer interaction
- Supporting full lifecycle delivery of spacecraft systems
What They’re Looking For
- Experience working within Systems Engineering environments
- Background within space, aerospace, defence, or highly regulated engineering sectors
- Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle
- Experience with requirements management tools
- Ability to work across multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable
- Spacecraft or satellite experience
- Ground systems, RF, avionics, or mission systems exposure
- Experience working within fast-paced engineering programmes
