Job Title: Quantity or Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Glasgow (Minimum 1 day per week in office – flexible/hybrid working)
Overview
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established framework, supporting a portfolio of customer connection projects. This role offers the opportunity to take full commercial ownership across multiple schemes, delivering both pre- and post-contract services within a dynamic infrastructure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of customer connection projects.
- Provide comprehensive pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring strong commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead cost management, forecasting, reporting, and change control processes.
- Administer contracts and manage risk in line with project and framework requirements.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Work independently while maintaining alignment with wider commercial and project teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level.
- Strong commercial management and contract administration expertise.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple workstreams effectively.
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience within electrical Transmission & Distribution.
Working Arrangement
The successful candidate will be required to attend the Glasgow office a minimum of one day per week, with flexibility for remote working for the remainder of the week.
