The Opportunity:
A leading alternative investment platform is looking to hire a Valuation & Fund Analytics into its expanding London finance team.
This is a broad, hands-on role sitting at the centre of the business, offering direct exposure across private credit and private equity strategies.
Responsible for working closely with investment teams, portfolio monitoring, finance and the Valuation Committee, with genuine ownership from day one.
The Responsibilities:
This is not a traditional reporting-focused valuation role. The team is looking for someone who can take ownership of valuation processes across multiple asset classes, contribute to methodology development, and operate as a key point of contact across the platform.
You will gain exposure to:
- Private credit and structured products
- Complex valuation methodologies and model calibration
- Valuation governance and committee interaction
- Multi-asset fund structures within a highly regarded alternatives platform
- The role offers strong visibility internally and the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across both investment and finance functions.
- Ownership of internal valuation processes across private credit, private equity, real estate and CLO investments
- Building, maintaining and refining valuation models and methodologies across evolving asset classes
- Acting as a key contact for valuation-related queries from auditors, AIFMs and investors
- Supporting fair value hierarchy assessments and sensitivity analysis for audited financial statements
- Partnering closely with deal teams, portfolio monitoring and operations teams across the platform
The Requirements:
- Valuation experience within a private credit manager, valuation advisory team or alternative investment platform.
- Exposure to illiquid asset valuation methodologies and private market structures
- Strong Excel and financial modelling capability
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent qualification preferred
