Our client, a preeminent US law firm with a distinguished reputation for mid-market excellence, is currently executing a strategic expansion of its Leveraged Finance practice in London. Following a period of significant mandate wins and sustained growth in the private capital sector, the firm is looking to appoint a high-caliber Associate (4+ PQE) to play a pivotal role in its Private Credit and Private Equity Finance team. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a practice that sits at the vanguard of the shifting debt landscape, advising sophisticated credit funds and direct lenders on complex, multi-jurisdictional financings.
In this role, you will be deeply integrated into a high-performance environment characterized by a lean team structure. This model ensures that mid-level associates gain unparalleled front-line exposure, taking the lead on drafting and negotiating primary facility agreements, intercreditor structures, and bespoke security packages. The firm is specifically seeking candidates currently practicing within the Leveraged Finance or Banking teams of Magic Circle or leading US firms in London.
