Elite are partnering with a beautiful contemporary fashion brand, seeking a Multi-Product Garment Technologist to join the team.
The Garment Technologist will play a key role in delivering the highest technical and quality standards. Working closely with design, pattern cutting, and production teams, you’ll be responsible for ensuring every piece meets fit, construction, and quality expectations - balancing innovation with commercial viability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full technical development process from initial design handover through to bulk production.
- Fit and evaluate toiles and sealing samples, providing detailed fit comments and technical guidance.
- Collaborate with pattern cutters, machinists, and factories to refine patterns, construction methods, and finishes.
- Approve size specifications, grade rules, and measurement charts in line with brand standards.
- Manage and maintain detailed technical packs (tech packs) ensuring accuracy and clarity for suppliers.
- Conduct risk assessments on new styles to identify potential manufacturing or quality issues early.
- Monitor production quality, resolve technical issues, and support factory visits or virtual fittings where necessary.
- Work closely with QA teams to ensure consistency of fit and construction across all product categories.
- Stay up to date with innovations in tailoring, fabric technology, and garment construction techniques.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Garment Technologist within a premium or luxury womenswear.
- Excellent understanding of fit, pattern cutting, and garment construction.
