Hours: 48.5 hours per week – working various shift patterns to suit the needs of the business

Location: Mobile across the UK – Working away from home and travelling throughout the UK will be required as part of the role

What you'll be doing:

  • Oversee safe and efficient decommissioning operations on-site, coordinating equipment deployment, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Conduct daily site meetings with contractors and operatives, including think-safe briefings before work begins and progress discussions
  • Manage visitors, contractors, and suppliers ensuring Health & Safety compliance, conducting site inductions and providing PPE
  • Monitor and resolve daily on-site issues, escalating complex matters to Senior Contracts Manager as needed
  • Maintain daily site diaries, project documentation, schedules, reports, and meeting minutes
  • Hold regular progress meetings with clients and stakeholders to report on project status and align on scope and requirements
  • Ensure waste segregation and disposal compliance with site waste management plans and environmental regulations

What we're looking for:

  • Black CCDO Demolition Manager card
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements), and safety case compliance
  • Experience in planning and executing decommissioning projects, including setting timescales and milestones
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and communicate design changes effectively with design teams
  • Proven staff management skills including scheduling, supervising, mentoring contractors and ensuring performance standards
  • Strong stakeholder liaison capabilities to coordinate with project managers, offshore/onshore teams, and senior management
  • Budget and quality monitoring experience with ability to manage project timelines and meet requirements
  • Understanding of waste management regulations, sustainability practices, and process digitization/streamlining
  • Flexibility to work various shift patterns and work away from home for extended periods
