About the Role
Manpower is currently seeking an interim Demand Planning Manager to work with our global FMCG client, Elida Beauty, renowned for brands such as TIGI, VO5, Toni & Guy, and Brylcreem, and become an integral part of their fast‑paced FMCG environment.
Position is based in Holborn, London. This is a full‑time temporary role for 12 months, with possible extension, requiring 37.5 hours per week, to start ASAP, Monday to Friday. Compensation is competitive, up to £48,000 per annum on a pro‑rata basis, depending on experience.
The role offers a mix of remote and on‑site working, subject to adjustment based on business requirements.
Applicants must be available immediately or have no more than a 2‑week notice period.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead demand planning for the UKI region, managing forecasting, Sales & Operations Planning processes, and coordinating growth delivery in the market.
- Execute the end‑to‑end demand plan for UKI in line with the business plan and customer JBP.
- Collaborate on bottom‑up volume forecasting across base, activity and innovation planning for a 12‑to‑18 month horizon, targeting improved forecast accuracy, high customer service levels, and reduced finished goods inventory.
- Lead the monthly Sales & Operations Planning process, working with key departments to ensure alignment and delivery of the plan.
- Monitor forecast bias and accuracy reporting to deliver agreed service levels.
- Assist the SC Lead UKI with development, maintenance and delivery of KPI dashboards and reporting for the leadership team.
- Deliver excellent service to all customers, both internal and external.
- Support process hygiene and lead technology transformation where relevant, focusing on the development and continuous improvement of processes and ERP systems.
Required Skills
- Fluent in English.
- Strong planning knowledge and background with financial and business acumen.
- Experience with statistical forecasting and operational planning systems such as Kinaxis.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams, including cross‑country and virtual teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to analyse complex data sets and develop strategic recommendations.
