EYFS – Nursery – Fulham, Inner London – Full-time (Permanent)

Salary: £27,000 – £32,000 (dependent on experience & negotiable)

Pay structure: Weekly PAYE only

Start date: ASAP & Ongoing

About the role

As a Room Leader, you will:

• Lead a nursery room and support a team of Level 3 practitioners to deliver exceptional EYFS practice.
• Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to thrive emotionally, socially, and developmentally.
• Plan and deliver high‑quality, play‑based learning and oversee observations and assessments using Development Matters.
• Ensure children’s learning journeys reflect strong progress across all seven areas of learning.
• Work closely with parents and carers and support inclusive practice for children with SEND and EAL.
• Collaborate with senior leadership where required.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (ESSENTIAL)
• Strong experience in EYFS nursery settings.
• Previous Room Leader experience or strong readiness to step up.
• Confident leadership and ability to support a team.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS and Development Matters.
• Experience with observations, planning, and learning journeys.
• Understanding of SEND and EAL support.
• Warm, professional, and confident communicator.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge.
