We are looking for a 0 to 5 years+ PQE dispute resolution solicitor / chartered legal executive to work at our Leeds office. The role will involve dealing with a combination of pre‑litigation and litigated cases across a mixed caseload, predominantly focused on commercial disputes, property litigation and professional negligence.

Key responsibilities

Deal with pre‑litigation and litigated cases across a mixed caseload, predominantly commercial disputes, property litigation and professional negligence.

Qualifications

  • A qualified solicitor or legal executive.
  • 0 to 5 years PQE with experience in litigation, professional negligence and/or property litigation.
  • Highly motivated, self‑driven and professional.
  • Able to engage directly with clients, take instructions and offer advice.
  • Able to prepare and deal with cases from inception to conclusion, taking full responsibility for those matters allocated to you, with appropriate supervision.
  • Familiar with accurate time recording and ensuring the accurate billing of matters you have handled.
  • Familiar with current rules relating to the professional conduct of solicitors and/or legal executives.
  • Willing to assist senior members of the team when required.
  • Highly organised with the ability to professionally manage a busy caseload whilst maintaining good attention to detail.
  • Effective at communication with clients and members of the team.
  • A strong team player and can work under their own initiative.
  • Keen to demonstrate a passion for providing quality client care and successfully delivering results on time.
