Newbury, England or Edinburgh, Scotland (Hybrid)

Full-time | Hardware & Software – Hardware

I’m currently working with a client seeking Design Verification Engineers (all levels) to join their growing team in either Newbury or Edinburgh.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on digital verification for complex mixed‑signal ICs, contributing to cutting‑edge semiconductor projects within a highly technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and develop IC verification plans and test cases
  • Lead verification activities to ensure high‑quality IC delivery
  • Build and maintain reusable UVM/SystemVerilog testbenches
  • Drive improvements in verification methodologies and flows
  • Support and mentor engineers within the team
  • Contribute across the full design and verification lifecycle

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related discipline
  • Experience verifying complex mixed‑signal ICs / SoCs
  • Strong background in metric‑driven verification (coverage, constrained random, etc.)
  • Proficiency in SystemVerilog (incl. SVA) and UVM or equivalent methodologies
  • Strong debugging skills across RTL and testbench environments

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of OOP and design patterns

Additional Information

  • Hybrid working model (typically 2+ days onsite)
  • Candidates should be within commuting distance or open to relocation
  • Visa sponsorship available where required
