We are looking for a curious and creative engineer to join our Bluetooth team in Bristol. Together, we'll build the next generation of wireless technology.
What You’ll Achieve With Us
As a member of a supportive team of 5 engineers, you will do more than just test and write code. You will:
- Innovate and Create — Bring new Bluetooth features to life, translating complex specifications into elegant, functional code that will be used by millions.
- Collaborate for Impact — Partner with our hardware teams to shape the future of Nordic’s chips, ensuring our software and hardware work in perfect harmony.
- Solve Intriguing Puzzles — Dive deep into bare-metal and RTOS environments to debug and resolve complex protocol challenges, making our technology more robust and reliable.
- Champion Quality — Design and build sophisticated, fully automated tests to ensure your solutions perform flawlessly in the field.
- You’ll also have the opportunity to travel and participate in interoperability events with the Bluetooth SIG.
This Role Is a Great Fit If You…
While we do not have a rigid checklist, we think you’ll thrive in this role if you are an experienced engineer and can bring:
- A degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Cybernetics, or a related field.
- A love for embedded software, with high proficiency in C. Strong skills in Python is a bonus.
- A natural curiosity and analytical skills for tackling tricky problems.
- A collaborative spirit, strong communication skills, and a genuine desire to work as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm for learning new things and making a meaningful impact.
We’d be especially excited if you have experience with:
- Wireless protocols (Bluetooth or other)
- Designing low-power embedded applications
- ARM Cortex microcontrollers or real-time operating systems
