About the Role
Public Supply Chain Manager at our Cwmbran factory in Wales. We are currently growing our team and looking to oversee and optimize supply chain operations to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. In our Public Segment we enable cities and operators to transform outdoor infrastructure into intelligent, connected ecosystems that improve performance, enhance experiences, and drive sustainable value.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with business goals and objectives.
- Analyze data and trends to make informed decisions and improve supply chain strategies.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Manage inventory to meet demand and minimize excess.
- Prepare reports on performance for management.
- Execute supply chain actions/initiatives to deliver objectives aligning with business plan. Drive sales fulfillment for all channels, enable new channels.
- Optimize market network, simplification and cost saving programs.
- Deliver inventory (FG) and inventory quality targets.
- Deliver operating cost efficiency.
- Deliver best-in-class customer service – service as a differentiator.
- Drive customer collaboration and visibility – order management and demand planning.
- Leverage technology to streamline supply chain processes and enhance productivity.
Critical Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in supply chain with 4 years managing supply chain and a proven track record in strategy development and cross-functional collaboration.
- Certification such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of SAP and Lean Six Sigma principles would be a bonus.
- Affinity for AI and ability to work innovatively with AI tools to make processes run more efficiently.
