Assistant Director – Tech – Strategy and Execution – EY Parthenon
Join EY Parthenon’s Technology team in delivering technology, operations, and financial advice to corporate and private equity clients across M&A transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in business origination: develop pitches and presentations and engage with senior client executives to support the sales cycle.
- Participate in client meetings to advise on technology strategy, due diligence, and transaction integration.
- Apply technical IT expertise across buy‑side and sell‑side mandates throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Lead and manage blended project teams, coordinating resources, managing commercials, and overseeing risk.
- Provide senior client advisory on technology functions, governance, and architecture for corporate carve‑outs, integrations, and value‑creation initiatives.
- Support the development of practice initiatives and training programs to strengthen the team’s expertise.
Qualifications and Experience
- Professional services or consulting experience in transactions, including due diligence, carve‑out, or integration projects.
- Broad and deep knowledge of IT functions, including enterprise architecture, strategy, governance, systems integration, application development, service delivery, and infrastructure.
- Experience working with private‑equity clients and senior IT stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior clients and deliver high‑quality reports and presentations.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication; ability to lead large, complex, global delivery programmes.
- Leadership experience with teams of diverse skills and backgrounds, and a commitment to developing junior staff.
- Excellent problem‑solving and project‑management skills.
