Nursery / Reception (EYFS/Early Years) ASD Specialist – September 2026

Full‑time, long‑term post for the rest of the academic year at a well‑rated primary school in Basildon.

Responsibilities

• Working in Reception, offering one‑to‑one support.
• Leading phonics, spelling, reading & writing groups and individual sessions, including MAKATON activities.
• Providing personal care and delivering creative, sensory‑based activities.

Qualifications

• Degree from a reputable university.
• Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
• Experience or knowledge of working with non‑verbal students with ASD.
• Engaging, bubbly personality.
• Comfortable working within a large team.

Job Details

• Start date: September.
• Contract: Full time for the full academic year.
• Salary: £92‑£100 per day.
• Location: Basildon, Essex.
