Job Title: Procurement Excellence Process Manager

Location: Manchester (Hybrid)

Contract: 24 Months

Rate: Up to £45 per hour PAYE

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Excellence Process Manager to support global procurement process improvement and master data initiatives within a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment. This role will focus on driving Procure-to-Pay (P2P) harmonisation, continuous improvement, automation, and data governance activities across global sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support harmonisation and improvement of P2P processes across multiple sites
  • Develop and maintain Level 5 work instructions and process documentation
  • Drive procurement master data strategy and process optimisation initiatives
  • Support implementation and enhancement of SAP ERP and SAP Ariba systems
  • Maintain reporting tools, dashboards, KPI tracking, and data validation activities
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Accounts Payable, IT, and Supply Chain teams
  • Deliver continuous improvement projects to increase automation and process efficiency
  • Support procurement analytics and reporting activities using Power BI and SAP tools

Requirements

  • Strong project management experience within procurement environments
  • Experience working within P2P, Accounts Payable, or Shared Services functions
  • Strong understanding of upstream/downstream procurement processes
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP ERP, SAP Ariba, and Power BI
  • Pharma or life sciences industry experience preferred
  • Experience documenting and harmonising global processes
  • Strong analytical and data management skills
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement and process compliance activities
  • Experience with R, Python, SAS, or other analytical tools
  • Understanding of Big Data, machine learning, or data mining concepts
  • German or Spanish language skills would be beneficial
