Job Description

Our purpose is to make the world more sustainable by building trust in society through innovation. As a 24/7 SOC Analyst you will contribute to this by helping drive service excellence within the SOC, protecting our customers and positioning Fujitsu as a trusted leader in security.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor security tools, logs and alerts for suspicious activity using SIEM, EDR and network monitoring systems.
  • Investigate and analyse security events and incidents to determine their nature, impact and root cause.
  • Produce clear and concise reporting on security events, incidents and trends using ITSM toolsets to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with other security teams, IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure effective security operations and communication.
  • Continuously learn by staying up to date on the latest threats, vulnerabilities and best practices.

Shift Details

This is a shift‑based role requiring nights, days and weekends. Shift allowance will be provided.

Requirements

All candidates must live within a commutable distance from Warrington.

Transferable Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a SOC Analyst or similar security role.
  • Strong understanding of security concepts and attacker techniques, including network, endpoint, cloud security and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
  • Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, EDR, firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
