Our client is in the Financial Sector and is looking to grow their team with a new AI Engineer. The role is hybrid with 2 days in Central London, 3 days working from home. This is a brand new position within an AI team of 20, focused on developing new projects and products that use data to drive smarter, better decisions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement AI-driven solutions to address complex business challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technologies into existing systems.
- Research and apply advanced machine-learning algorithms and techniques to improve business processes.
- Analyse large datasets to derive actionable insights and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and maintain scalable AI models using industry best practices.
- Monitor the performance of AI systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and advancements in AI and machine-learning.
Qualifications
- Software engineering experience – preferably C# or Python.
- Azure – experience with Azure Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure ML Studio, Azure Synapse, Azure Cosmos DB, etc.
- Experience designing, testing, and deploying AI/ML solutions.
- Knowledge of generative AI, LLM APIs, chatbots/agents.
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Microsoft Agent Framework, LangChain.
- Familiarity with vector databases.
- Background in ML engineering.
