MCS Group is partnering with a global tech‑driven organization to recruit multiple Cloud Product Security Engineers across mid‑to‑senior levels.
This role is for hands‑on engineers who want to build and operate cloud‑native security capabilities, focused on software, cloud, and security engineering within modern platforms, infrastructure, and developer workflows.
The Role
Design, develop, and maintain security controls integrated directly into cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, enterprise services, and modern application environments. Operate within a strong product engineering mindset, owning solutions end‑to‑end from design through deployment and operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate cloud‑native security controls across AWS and/or Azure environments.
- Develop preventative, detective, and responsive security capabilities for cloud‑hosted workloads.
- Engineer and maintain CSPM and DLP capabilities across enterprise cloud platforms.
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and shared enterprise services.
- Build detection logic, automation, and response mechanisms to improve security operations.
- Integrate cloud security tooling with SIEM and monitoring platforms.
- Support incident response activities through improved detections and recovery mechanisms.
- Contribute to post‑incident improvements and continuous optimisation of controls.
- Apply Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and automated testing practices across security solutions.
- Develop scalable, reliable, production‑grade software and cloud services.
- Collaborate closely with platform engineers, developers, and product teams.
- Support continuous improvement across cloud security engineering practices.
About You
Essential
- Experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, or security engineering environments.
- Strong programming skills in at least one modern language such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS and/or Azure.
- Understanding of cloud‑native architectures and modern engineering practices.
- Experience building or supporting cloud security controls and automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud automation tooling.
Desirable
- Experience with CSPM, DLP, SIEM, or cloud security tooling.
- Exposure to detection engineering, incident response, or security automation.
- Understanding of secure cloud design principles and distributed systems.
- Experience with policy‑as‑code, drift detection, or automated remediation.
- Background in large‑scale enterprise or regulated environments.
