Senior Software Engineer | Typescript/PHP (Laravel) | Up to £100k
We're working with a high-growth SaaS business hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a collaborative product engineering team building software that supports complex operational and compliance workflows at scale.
This is a company with a mature, low-ego engineering culture, where senior developers are trusted with ownership, technical input, architectural decision‑making and close collaboration across the wider business. Their current stack is Laravel & TypeScript based, and they’re also embracing AI in a practical way, with Claude Code already embedded into core engineering workflows.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and improving core platform features across backend and frontend systems
- Designing scalable solutions and influencing architecture
- Working closely with Product and stakeholders to solve real user problems
- Improving engineering standards, quality and delivery processes
- Using AI tooling to enhance speed and efficiency
- Contributing as a senior voice within a collaborative team
What They’re Looking For
- Strong senior‑level software engineering experience with an eye for software architecture
- Commercial PHP (Laravel) and Typescript experience
- Experience designing systems and making sound technical decisions
- Product mindset with a focus on outcomes
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Positive attitude toward AI‑assisted engineering
