CNC Milling Programmer / Setter / Operator – Precision Engineering
Location: Abingdon
Salary: Circa 45K – 50K + Benefits
CNC Milling Programmer / Setter / Operator required by established, high-tech Manufacturing Company specialising in complex precision engineered components for highly regulated industries. This is a technically challenging role where you’ll be programming, setting and operating advanced CNC milling machines producing large, complex components to extremely tight tolerances. You’ll be working on high-specification precision engineering projects across sectors including nuclear, medical and semi-conductors within a modern, quality-driven manufacturing environment.
Essential Requirements
- Strong background programming, setting and operating CNC Milling machines
- Experience with 3, 4 & 5 Axis CNC machining
- Good knowledge of Heidenhain controls
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
- Experience producing components to tight tolerances
- Able to work independently and take responsibility for own quality
Nice-to-have
- Experience with Fanuc controls
- Previous experience with Doosan, Matsuura or Mazak machines
- Experience machining large componentsOverhead crane / manual handling training
