We are supporting a leading investment banking platform in the search for an Associate to join its Energy Infrastructure team.
The team advises a broad range of clients across the energy transition and infrastructure landscape, including renewable developers, infrastructure funds, utilities, IPPs and strategic investors across Europe.
The role offers exposure across high-profile M&A, capital raising and strategic advisory mandates within one of the most active areas of the infrastructure market.
The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role across live transactions and business development activities, supporting senior bankers on the execution of complex energy and infrastructure mandates.
Responsibilities will include:
- Financial modelling and valuation analysis
- M&A execution
- Debt and equity capital raising support
- Preparation of client presentations and marketing materials
- Transaction process management
- Market research and strategic analysis
- Supporting negotiations and client interactions
The individual will gain exposure across a broad range of energy infrastructure and energy transition subsectors, including:
- Battery energy storage systems (BESS)
- Power and utilities
- Energy transition infrastructure
- Grid and flexible energy assets
Candidate Profile
The team is looking to speak with candidates who possess:
- 3–6 years of relevant experience within investment banking, infrastructure advisory or energy M&A
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities
- Transaction execution experience across M&A and/or capital raising mandates
- Exposure to energy, infrastructure, renewables or power markets
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate within fast-paced transaction environments
Experience advising infrastructure funds, developers, utilities or sponsors would be highly advantageous.
