FP&A Analyst (Bupa Global)

Location: Brighton (Victory House, BN1 4FY) – Hybrid working (one day per week in the office), full time, 37.5 hours per week. Salary from £49,200 per annum (dependent on experience).

As an FP&A Analyst within Bupa Global you’ll be part of a team that plays a critical role in shaping the financial future of our business. Reporting to the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, you’ll support strategic and operational decision‑making by delivering insightful analysis, robust planning, and accurate forecasting.

How you’ll help us make health happen

  • Support the delivery of in‑year forecasts and 3–5 year plans, including detailed financial analysis.
  • Prepare monthly rolling forecasts, support flash and actual reporting processes, and prepare variance reports against plan for key stakeholders.
  • Analyse profit and loss performance and identify key value drivers and sensitivities.
  • Produce KPI analysis and sensitivity modelling to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Market Unit Financial Planning & Reporting team and Bupa Global leadership.
  • Build strong relationships across finance and the wider business to ensure accurate, timely reporting.
  • Support the development of planning systems and drive process improvements.
  • Contribute to monthly reporting packs, commentary, and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Promote best practice and continuous improvement across financial planning processes.

Key skills and qualifications

  • Qualified as an accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • Experience in FP&A (planning, reporting, financial analysis), ideally within a large or complex organisation.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to interpret data, problem solve and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and bridge financial knowledge gaps.
  • A proactive, inquisitive approach and desire to drive change and improvement.
  • Experience with planning and reporting tools such as Oracle and Power BI (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Adaptable to business change and a growth agenda.
  • Ability to deliver accurate and timely information to the business.
  • Proven initiative and desire to contribute beyond the core expectations of the role and to look for opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Willing to provide support, advice and assistance in the development of colleagues.
