Financial Controller – Global Hedge Fund

Our client, a leading Global Hedge Fund is looking for a Qualified Financial Controller to join their growing Finance function responsible for financial reporting, financial analysis and strategic initiatives. The role will be wide reaching and covers all elements of Financial Control running various Legal Entities in different jurisdictions and across various Financial Instrument lines.

The Role will include

• Financial Accounting and Reporting under IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP
• Responsible for month-end closing of management entities
• Management Accounting including preparation of Management Information, Budget & Forecasting and Cashflow management
• Assist in regulatory filings across the EMEA regulated jurisdictions
• Focus on improving processes & controls

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ideally ACA or equivalent and Practice Qualified)
• Post Qualification experience in Financial Reporting & Control gained within a Financial Services firm
• Investment Banking Product/Financial Instrument Knowledge would be advantageous
• Experience of reporting under IFRS, UK GAAP & US GAAP
