Responsibilities
- Lead a high-quality, efficient month‑end close and deliver board‑ready reporting with robust reconciliations and clear audit trails.
- Strengthen financial controls, systems and automation to build a scalable, investor‑ready finance function.
- Act as the lead for audit, year‑end accounts, VAT, payroll and broader tax compliance.
- Partner cross‑functionally to translate financial performance into commercial insight, confidently challenging on accounting treatment where needed.
- Lead and develop the finance team, raise standards, improve processes, and embed a systems‑first, high‑performance culture.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong post‑qualified experience.
- Proven experience operating as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager within a scaling, high‑growth environment.
- Strong technical grounding, with clear SaaS/software revenue recognition experience and a deep understanding of financial controls.
- Systems‑first mindset – instinctively improve processes, leverage automation, and enhance reporting accuracy.
- Confident communicator with gravitas, comfortable challenging stakeholders and translating financial data into commercial insight.
- Meticulous, disciplined and commercially aware, with the drive to build a finance function that supports rapid and sustainable growth.
