Field Service Compliance Auditor
Salary: £39,024 – £43,802
Location: Field Based – Midlands
Responsibilities
- Ensure all gas and electric meter installations comply with industry legislation and company standards.
- Lead audit activity across directly employed and subcontract engineers.
- Support engineers in staying up to date with requirements and provide coaching where gaps in knowledge or performance are identified.
- Investigate issues, drive continuous improvement and high performance.
- Maintain compliance across field operations while working independently and as part of a wider team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Solid foundation in metering with CCN1, MET1 or equivalent qualifications.
- Proven experience in metering work.
- Strong communication skills, ability to motivate others, build relationships, and influence performance in the field.
- Attention to detail and a proactive, problem‑solving approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Additional qualifications such as National PTO (NSAP), medium pressure, 3‑phase and PEB1.
- Good understanding of SMICOP, British Standards and industry regulations across gas and electric metering.
- Ability to access customers' homes, with enhanced security vetting.
