Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial reporting, including management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Oversee cash flow, working capital, and financial KPIs, ensuring accuracy across WIP, billing, and revenue.
- Maintain strong balance sheet controls and support audits and statutory reporting.
- Ensure full compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and client money regulations.
- Oversee client and office account processes, including reconciliations, billing, and disbursements.
- Act as escalation point for client money risks and support regulatory submissions.
- Lead and develop Cashiering and Credit Control teams.
- Deliver bonus and productivity reporting and support wider finance projects.
Skills & Experience
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 5+ years' PQE.
- Legal finance experience (SRA knowledge desirable).
- Team management experience.
- Strong Excel and accounting systems knowledge (Xero preferred).
- Analytical, detail‑driven, and commercially aware.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
- Ability to prioritise and perform under pressure.
- High integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
