Nursery Manager – Cheshire East
Salary: From £32,000 per year
Excll Supply is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead a high‑quality early years setting in Cheshire East. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate childcare professional with strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding care and education.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day‑to‑day management of the nursery
- Lead, support, and develop a team of early years practitioners
- Ensure full compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and EYFS standards
- Maintain high‑quality learning environments that support children’s development
- Build strong relationships with parents, staff, and external agencies
- Manage budgets, staffing, and occupancy levels effectively
Requirements
- Proven experience in a nursery management or senior leadership role
- Relevant childcare qualification (Level 3 or above)
- Management qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and Ofsted standards
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
- A genuine passion for early years education
