Service Based – Highly Specialist Practitioner Psychologist. This role offers an exciting progression opportunity for Psychologists who have successfully completed their preceptorship period.

Location: Blackpool Services.

  • Contracted Hours: 18.75 hours – Part Time

Salary

CGL Points: 47 – 54 (£52,221.35 – £60,105.54)

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of a senior registered Psychologist, you will ensure that people who access our services receive high‑quality care that adheres to best practice and evidence‑based guidelines, improving the psychological well‑being of people in our care. Our model emphasises physical, psychological and emotional safety and helps people to rebuild a sense of control and empowerment in their lives and communities. The post holder will:

  • Ensure psychological perspectives are central to everyone’s thinking.
  • Support the empowerment of teams and individuals to increase knowledge, skills and professional confidence around the needs of the people who access our services.
  • Provide consultancy, reflective practice, team formulation, training and clinical case management to help the wider team create an innovative and effective trauma‑informed service.

The post holder will be part of the national Psychology Team, providing opportunities for reflective practice, peer support, research and CPD.

Qualifications

Registered Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist.
