Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a 13‑week travel assignment. The role requires ARRT(R) and ARRT(M) certifications and a minimum of two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic mammography procedures for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain daily operations of the women’s health mammography section, including QA, preventative maintenance scheduling, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure accurate patient records are maintained in EHR and all documentation is complete before submitting procedures for interpretation.
• Adhere to FDA guidelines for the mammography section and ALARA radiation safety standards.
• Assist in other imaging modalities and cross‑training opportunities available in CT, MRI, and DEXA.
• Participate in the training and development of imaging staff in breast imaging specialties.
• Provide holiday coverage as required.
• Local candidates are accepted.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and Mammography (M).
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist.
• State license required if applicable.
• Provision of date of birth and SSN may be required for consideration.
• Experience with PACS and RIS/HIS systems is beneficial.
