Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Neurosciences and Major Trauma Rehabilitation Coordination teams for a Band 7 Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist. The post holder will be an integral part of the neurosciences team and also contribute to the rehabilitation coordination team, providing support to patients throughout the major trauma pathway. The role may also involve community outreach work to support transitions home.
Responsibilities
- Work as an integral part of the neurosciences team.
- Provide support to patients throughout the major trauma pathway.
- Contribute to the rehabilitation coordination team.
- Work with a multidisciplinary AHP and Major Trauma team, delivering evidence‑based practice.
- Participate in some community outreach work to support transitions home.
Qualifications
- Honours Degree / MSc in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy.
- Relevant postgraduate training or experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Team player.
- Requires weekend work as part of the 7‑day working strategy of NHS Tayside.
