Overview

We are now recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to cover a period of maternity leave at an established, friendly small animal veterinary practice in the City of Nottingham, East Midlands.

• Fixed term contract for 12 months to start ASAP.
• 4 days a week, including 1 in 3 Saturday mornings and no Sundays, no out-of-hours.
• Practice is established, modern and successful with state of the art equipment; digital and dental x-rays, ultrasound, ECG, ultrasonic dental, blood pressure monitoring, suction, cautery, Class 4 laser therapy, infusion pumps, in‑house lab etc.
• Varied and in-depth caseload with a small number of routine ops and 15‑minute consults.
• Role requires confidence with routine surgeries and consultations.
• Fantastic, friendly and welcoming team with 3 Vets, 5 Nurses, a Reception team and a Practice Manager.
• Well‑connected to Nottingham city centre via tram network and buses, and close to M1 motorway, A50 and M42.

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
• Registered with the RCVS.
• Confident with routine surgeries and consultations.
