Main duties of the job
- Undertake supervised imaging procedures in line with existing modality specific clinical guidelines and protocols (IRMER 2017, IRR 2017, ARSAC).
- Maintain professional competencies and CPD.
- Run quality assurance checks on equipment and take appropriate actions.
- Respect patients' customs, values and spiritual beliefs; seek and take into account patient views.
- Demonstrate safe, effective practice in line with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain patient information systems with accurate up-to-date information.
- Report all incidents and complaints in line with company policy.
- Adhere to Data Protection Act requirements.
- Ensure smooth flow of clinical and administrative work.
- Participate in governance activities such as audits, personal development and team meetings.
- Monitor essential stocks and re‑order as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Comply with ISO standards in information security management.

Salary: Competitive, plus a company car or car allowance.
Hours: 36 hours per week, 3 × 12‑hour shifts (Monday‑Saturday).
Location: Milton Keynes, Great Western, Swindon, Swansea, Stevenage, Royal Marsden, London. Locations are expanding.

- Carry out PET‑CT imaging procedures with precision and professionalism.
- Provide compassionate, patient‑centred care, ensuring comfort, dignity and understanding.
- Maintain high standards of quality and safety, run equipment checks and resolve issues.
- Support governance and continuous improvement through audits, CPD and team collaboration.
- Keep patient records accurate, up-to-date and compliant with data protection standards.
- Contribute to the efficient flow of both clinical and administrative work.
What we’re looking for
We want a passionate PET‑CT radiographer who is a strong team player, has excellent communication skills, is attentive to patient care, confidentiality and professional standards, confident with imaging equipment, flexible to work mobile shifts across multiple locations and travel for training, and committed to continuous professional development.
Essential requirements
BSc in Radiography, BSc in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent; previous experience in PET‑CT or Nuclear Medicine; eligibility to drive in the UK.
