We're now looking for an Inventory First Line Manager to lead a team of stock clerks, drive stock accuracy and compliance, and ensure effective inventory control across a fast-paced, customer-focused warehouse operation.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

  • To oversee and drive the accuracy and effectiveness of all inventory control activities, ensuring stock integrity is maintained at all times
  • To manage and develop a team of Inventory Control Clerks, setting clear expectations and ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
  • To lead stock control processes including cycle counting, discrepancy investigations, and reconciliation
  • To ensure all inventory records, compliance documentation, and audit requirements are maintained to a high standard, with strong attention to detail
  • To build effective relationships with customers and stakeholders while promoting Health & Safety and supporting overall warehouse performance in a fast-paced environment

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

  • Proven experience supervising or managing teams within a warehouse, supply chain, or inventory-focused environment
  • Strong attention to detail with experience in inventory control processes, including stock accuracy, audits, and discrepancy investigation
  • Highly IT literate, with strong working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office – particularly Excel for reporting and analysis
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to build effective customer relationships and manage compliance, reporting, and documentation requirements
