Mobile Engineer (Electrical bias) PAM

An opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Engineer (Electrical bias) to join our team.

The area predominantly covered is the Southwest. The purpose of the role is to operate within the PAM division supporting the mobile and site‑based engineers delivering M&E PPM and associated remedial works as well as reactive works as per site requests.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with agreed‑upon terms and service level agreements.
  • Ensure that the contractual efficiently meets all relevant KPI & SLA requirements.
  • Carry out PPM and reactive works both in and out of hours (normal working hours 08:30 – 17:00).
  • Procure materials in coordination with the Lead Engineer or Assistant Contract Delivery Manager.
  • Be available to attend or manage critical call‑outs and provide written reports as required, including preparing the basis of the quotes for remedial works required.
  • Ensure the annual testing of tools and equipment is kept up to date.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs) for contract delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Assist in production of quotes as required.
  • Completion of PPM works and reporting.
  • Utilise facilities management software to complete and load worksheets immediately after job completion on the day.
  • Work OOH / weekend from time to time to supervise teams carrying out Fan Coil Maintenance and other essential maintenance. On‑call requirements may change in the future.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of City & Guilds Electrical qualification (18th Edition) – Electrical Testing & Inspection desirable.
  • Good knowledge of electrical services.
  • Sound level of administration and organisational skills.
  • Ability to develop a good understanding of the customers’ business requirements.
  • Initiative, proactive approach, high standard of workmanship, conscientiousness, team player, reliability.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to providing a high‑quality service and willingness to work flexibly, including overtime when required.
  • Mechanical experience desirable but not essential.
  • Sound knowledge of tablet applications.
  • Experience working with the commercial setting.
  • UK driving licence essential.
