Job Title: M/S Maintenance Technician
Location: East Yorkshire
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, alternating weekly between 6 AM‑2 PM and 2 PM‑10 PM shifts
Salary and Benefits
- Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating morning and afternoon shifts
- Salary: £42,500 – £46,300
- Contributory Pension
- No weekends or night shifts
- 25 days holidays plus statutory holidays

Role and Responsibilities
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a variety of machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimising downtime.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues promptly and efficiently to maintain production flow.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
Skills and Experience
Required
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, preferably in a factory or a fast‑paced production environment.
- Must have completed a recognised Engineering apprenticeship or be NVQ level 3 trained in Mechanical, Electrical or Multi‑skilled; preference may be given to either qualification.
- Ability to repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Good understanding of preventive maintenance practices.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
