Maintenance Engineer

Overview

My client is a large European manufacturing company looking for a mechanically bias Maintenance Engineer. You will be part of a large maintenance team with opportunities to grow, develop and progress.

Role

Maintenance Engineer working a days and nights shift rota at a site near Doncaster. The ideal candidate will be mechanically qualified and have experience in a maintenance capacity within a manufacturing environment.

Duties

• Week 1: Monday‑Friday, days – Week 2: Monday‑Thursday, nights
• Planned and reactive maintenance
• Ensure plant and equipment run smoothly
• Update maintenance logs
• Contribute to efficiency and reliability
• Fabrication and welding

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Discipline
• Experience in manufacturing or factory environments
• Welding and fabrication experience (desirable)
• Bearing fitting and alignment
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work within a team

This position is commutable from Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Epworth, Thorne, Gainsborough, and surrounding areas.
