About the Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an exceptionally talented Design Engineer to join our Composites Design group within the Engineering Office at Enstone. This position will play a crucial role in helping us push for podiums and race wins.

The role of our Composites Design Engineers: You will be part of the team behind all of our complex composite components and sub‑systems, taking ownership of your own designs with the opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge.

Responsibilities

Your challenge:

  • Contribute to detailed design specifications from cradle to grave, defining and supporting component or system validation, servicing and utilisation and resolving any issues as they arise.
  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to: concept design and scheming components, detailing machined parts, patterns, molds and specifying laminates, extending to the necessary component jigs and build tooling.

Qualifications

Who we want:

  • Previous experience, ideally within F1 or another high‑level motorsport.
  • Degree level or equivalent in Engineering with a solid base knowledge of engineering first principles.
  • Previous CAD experience with Catia V5/3DX is ideal, but training can be provided for NX or similar.
  • Self‑motivated, analytical, pragmatic decision‑maker capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Creative, innovative, and consistent approach to problem‑solving.
