The Role
As Engineering Manager you will organise, lead, coordinate and direct a multi‑disciplinary design engineering team responsible for delivering engineering work packages including specifications, analysis, verification and assessment. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include managing safety cases, supply chain activities, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality engineering solutions that meet client specifications and regulatory standards, overseeing project planning and execution, managing technical risks, and ensuring adherence to safety and design standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in nuclear glovebox design, commissioning or operations with a strong technical background in nuclear engineering
- Extensive experience working within regulated, quality‑assured systems, especially in nuclear or defence environments
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Fellow (FEng) status, with relevant professional membership preferred
- Expert knowledge of engineering design, governance reviews and technical assurance processes
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop technical teams and engage with subject matter experts effectively
