Shift: Continental shift (Days & Nights) – 07:00–19:00 / 19:00‑07:00

Role

My client is a Technical M&E & FM company recruiting a Shift Leader to work at a commercial office build in Mitcham, managing critical building systems on behalf of a research company occupying the floors.

As Shift Leader, You Will

• Act as the senior electrical engineer on shift, leading day‑to‑day technical operations
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across landlord building services
• Take ownership of electrical systems, plant, and associated infrastructure
• Supervise contractors and ensure all works are completed safely and compliantly
• Respond to faults, incidents, and alarms within a critical environment
• Maintain accurate records using site systems and permits to work

About You

• Hold electrical qualifications (Level 3 Electrical Installation & 18th Edition)
• Have solid experience working within commercial building services
• Are confident fault‑finding across electrical and wider M&E systems
• Can lead by example on shift and take responsibility for site operations
• Are professional, reliable, and safety‑focused
