The Role
As Electrical Engineer, you'll be a key part of the engineering team, responsible for keeping critical plant and equipment running at optimum performance. You'll be working across both planned preventative maintenance and reactive fault‑finding, playing a hands‑on role in the day‑to‑day running of the site.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across electrical systems and equipment
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults to minimise production downtime
- Supporting continuous improvement and engineering projects on site
- Working to health and safety standards and internal compliance requirements
- Collaborating with the wider engineering and operations teams
What We're Looking For
- Recognised electrical qualification – City & Guilds, HNC/HND, or equivalent
- Solid background in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
- 18th Edition wiring regulations (desirable)
- A proactive, reliable engineer who takes pride in their work
The Package
- Salary: £42,000 – £50,000 (dependent on experience)
- Friday to Monday, 10‑hour shifts
- Shift options: 5:30am – 1:30pm or 11:00am – 8:00pm
- Compressed week – enjoy three days off every week
